Our Halfeti takes inspiration from the precious goods traded by Turkey in times of old, the exotic flowers, pungent spices, soft leather and precious materials around the Turkish village of Halfeti and the rare black roses that thrive and bloom in Turkey’s heat along the coast of the Euphrates river.
This oil opens with a warm union of citruses, herbs and spices that blend bergamot and grapefruit with saffron, cardamom, atermisia and cypress leaf. The middle notes develop with floral jasmine and Bulgarian rose mingling with tones of nutmeg, while the base brings us the delicious warm aromas of leather, precious oud, cedar, sandalwood, amber, musk, tonka bean, vanilla and musk.

A good Strong oil. It has more leather notes but it’s still an amazing fragrance and works well in melts and sprays.

My preference when it come to fragrance is woody and/or fresh scents, but I can be a little funny with spiced scents. This was added to my basket during my last order at the very last minute as a last second addition, and I am so, so glad I did. Another fragrance from DCS that is in a whole different class. I am surprised by quite how much I love this. Is there anything DCS can’t do!?

This is one of the loveliest oils I’ve ever smelled. It transports me to a remote Mediterranean mountainside, think wild thyme, sunshine and the distant sound of goat bells tinkling …. The scent is complex, but subtle, and it smells of gorgeous wild herbs to me. I’m not quite sure how DCS keep doing it, but please don’t stop!

First time using DCS and the first time ordering their Halfeti oil. First of all top marks for processing and dispatching my order. I placed my order yesterday and it was with me before lunch today. Nobody can beat that!!!
Now to the oil itself. I’m a user of the original Halfeti range so known this scent really well. Not quite the same but hey it has a deep luxurious complexity to it, imagine deep woody leather that portrays a very expensive product without the cost. The aroma has filled the house with a gorgeous scent. We’ve already had a visitor who when entering the house exclaimed “oh what’s that gorgeous smell”. Expect another order DCS as she asked for your details.
In conclusion, it’s a winner with me and hats off to the guys at DCS. I’ll be back for more!!!!
