This is a lovely No5 inspired candle fragrance oil
(SISI to Chanel No5)
Just like the iconic scent this oil has top notes of Ylang-Ylang, Neroli, Bergamot and Peach and middle notes are iris, Jasmine, Rose, Lily-of-the-Valley followed by intense base notes of Sandalwood, Vanilla, Oakmoss, Orris Root, Vetiver and warning hints of Patchouli.

I don’t like aftershave and perfume dupes. There, I said it. This is from bitter experience in the past, and find they just don’t smell like what they are meant to from other suppliers. Think of it being the perfume is Coca Cola and the dupe is Tesco value cola. Somewhat similar, but just not very pleasant. This could NOT be any further from the truth with this oil. I know this fragrance incredibly well as this is the fragrance my mother has and always will wear. My mother asked for some No5 wax melts as one of her Christmas presents and I then remembered that DCS do a dupe. Knowing DCS, I knew this would be the closest version available purely down to Kari being a perfectionist. This oil isn’t ‘the closest version available’. This oil is the SAME. It is IDENTICAL to the perfume. My mother has agreed with me also. In addition to it being the best dupe I have ever tried of anything, it lasts incredibly well. I swear my mum was getting close to ten burns of the melts she was burning. DCS impresses me generally, but this was really something else.

Thanks for this Harrison. Kari is indeed a perfectionist and wont pass any oil until it meets all her exacting standards. This means our scent list grows slowly but also means at DCS no oil is ever hit and miss like with all other suppliers.
